Hello legends, I hope you had a fun Christmas this year. The New Year is about to begin, and so does our new journey. We have so many plans, so many things to do in trading—lots of improvements, lots of new research, and other things. I wish this year to be very, very profitable for you, and that your portfolio does at least 10x from where it is sitting currently.
In today’s blog, we are going to talk about capital preservation, because in many 1:1 coaching sessions this year, I realized that people are losing more in order to earn more. Just before a big move, they lose most of their capital in some bad trades, and then the market leaves them out before the big move.
Right before expansion, the market usually goes quiet. No panic, no euphoria, no clean trend- just slow, choppy price action that feels harmless. This is the phase where people think, “Nothing is happening, let me just take a few trades.”
Most traders don’t miss the big move because they were late.
