Spilling the Tea on Trading Profits…

This is an important lesson about trading less to make bigger profits.

You may remember in July I did an announcement in my discord channel about how I was struggling to day trade with TTC getting so busy and my time needing to be spent on developing the business: Read more here.

In that post I mentioned that the weekly setup part of the TBD System was my most profitable trade setup so I was going to focus on that. If there’s something I really feel is my super power, it’s catching Lindas. I can’t really explain why but there’s something about my personal trades that when I know they’re so far in profit and I’m risk free, I just don’t worry or second guess myself anymore. Or maybe it’s because I religiously start my day every day analysing the Daily TF. I probably spend more time on the daily than any other TF, even though most of my career has been scalping and day trading. Understanding the macro TF gives me the edge I need because if I can catch those major pivots, then I can get a long term position with the best RR possible.

I’m going to try really hard during the #enter-the-challenge to get the next Linda for all of us because I really want you all to experience it, for those that haven’t already. Actually my first ever Linda was a trade my coach made me take using only $1 risk. It’s why there’s the $1 risk challenge in the TTC Trade Challenge now. It taught me to deal with a lot of emotions:

  • When do I take profit
  • I’m in huge % profit but it’s small $, wish I put more on it
  • I want to take what I can but the trend is still current…

All these things and more. $1 long term trades taught me to trust the process and not make it about money.

If you haven’t joined the challenge, you really should. Just head to the #enter-the-challenge channel in discord for further details. It’s open to all TTC members.

Here’s 4 Lindas I caught and am currently in until US shows me a reversal is imminent:

BTC on Bitunix: 21:1 RR since 7th June (2 months)

BTC on OKX: 18:1 RR since 29th July (1 week)

*This trade was originally entered the same time as the Bitunix one but on the retracement it hit my SL that was just under my entry so I jumped back in

ETH on OKX: 9:1 RR since 24th July (nearly 2 weeks)

*I entered this one earlier also at a higher price but it hit my SL on the retracement and I got back in.

SOL on OKX: 19:1 RR since 29th July (one week)

In addition these trades, I also longed and shorted many times using the weekly setup between June-July as hedges against these positions in case we didn’t drop lower. I counted all my trades MINUS these 4 Lindas, here’s the stats:

WIN vs LOSSES: 12 wins, 5 losses
Total Trades: 17 over 2 months (only about 2 trades per week and usually on BTC and ETH or SOL and one of the others)
Average time in trade: 3 days
Account increase: 18.5%

So when you add it all together, in 2 months I’ve increased my account by 85.5% so far and here’s the reason I’m telling you all of this…

I did it by trading LESS.

Slow down, zoom out, wait for the all the confirmations and only take high quality setups. Use liquidity to find the largest zones, use astro to match up the level count, trust the model, execute without fear and then finally, trust the plan.

  1. very inspiring. I want to reach that level too – less trades and bigger profits while saving my nerves and having more time for other projects 😀
I think I’m in the right place to learn this skill finally, after all those years of getting caught up in the small moves…

  2. You know that I have been here a while! with many things pulling me back and forth I just know I need to hit this 100% but the demons pounce on me as i’m sure you know.
I have been up and down with no real consistency, ultimately my own fault not so much for not trusting the system, I think its more for not USING the system fully only partially (I think by reading too many comments by inexperienced people in the chats, watered down what I should have been doing, if I am honest with myself).

Until the “oh fuck” moment last week, when I was going to bed hadn’t really made a trade in a few weeks, for some reason I pulled up the chart on BTC, looked back through time frames and it just seemed obvious (with help of all your tools to guide me there!!!) that it was about to turn, which I ended up holding for 7 days!!! my VERY FIRST 7 DAYER 🙂 🙂 your right that felling is indescribable, that you are in profit you have moved your SL. But it’s the 3rd or 4th time you move it to another structure that is where I think the biggest buzz comes from, coz then it’s middle finger to the MM 🙂

I’ve said it before, thank you for what you have created Annii, I know some of us aren’t doing what you want us to do because you can see the goal you have already hit it and you just want to drag everyone up to your level. We are all very different human beings, we all do learn and accept things so very differently, it is one of the most frustrating things on this beautiful planet, believe me I know!! 🙂 But one day you will be visiting us in Thailand xxxooo

  3. Love this! It’s ultimately my edge too I guess. It gives enormous peace of mind. For learning the method and trading as a whole, making a lot of trades is a good thing. To be more profitable, less is more. Taking a month off like I was forced to by life, gives more clarity in the bigger picture again. This blog is pure serendipity for me, thank you! <3

  4. Great lessons Annii. I have had the opposite few months and it hurts. Shitty discipline, not zooming out enough and not waiting for confirmations. THe lessons are tough but I am still here! Thank you for sharing this and let’s try get everyone on the Linda train. Toot Toot!

  5. Thank you Annii! New to TTC as of June 21st. Learning the ropes. This is valuable information! Appreciate it very much 🥰

  6. Thanks for sharing this. This is very eye-opening. I’m in my second month of learning and for me this is as much about learning the technicalities as about learning the mindset and boy do I have a long way to go. I love the challenge because it will help me do just that – refine my trading plan, and get disciplined about it. So glad to have you as a mentor !

  7. This sentence “I probably spend more time on the daily than any other TF” is very inspiring, it contains so many lessons.
